New Leisure Centre for New Barnet

We are investing £35 million in new leisure facilities across the borough, as part of an ongoing project to deliver better infrastructure in Barnet. Victoria Recreation Ground will soon be home to the New Barnet Leisure Centre, with new state-of-the-art facilities including two new swimming pools, a café and a gym. This was approved by your Conservative councillors after Barnet residents took part in a consultation from 2014-2016.

Barnet Councillor Sachin Rajput, in charge of Sports and Physical Activity, said: “We are very proud to offer this project locally and I am delighted that local residents will have access to some fantastic new sports facilities very soon. It is a good time to be a resident in New Barnet, and living nearby with two small children I look forward to visiting myself!
