We are getting tough on littering: issuing £12,000 worth of fines to persistent litterers to help keep our roads and town centres clean.
We mechanically sweep approximately 833 kilometres of roads, sweep residential roads every 8 weeks, and cleaning shopping centres like Chipping Barnet / East Barnet Village / New Barnet / Hampden Square / Whetstone High Road / Great North Road daily.
