Folllowing representations to Barnet Council, the three East Barnet Councillors - Joanna Tambourides, Barry Evangeli, and Robert Rams - have succeeded in obtaining a Christmas tree for East Barnet Village this year.

The Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Melvin Cohen, will be switching on the lights with them at 5:30pm on Tuesday 26 November, and they would be delighted if everyone could come along and assemble near the war memorial to watch the event.

Prior to the East Barnet event but also on 26 November, the Mayor of Barnet will be switching on the Christmas tree lights in Hampden Square at 5pm for the 10th year.
