Councillor Robert Rams, Cabinet Member for Customer Access and Partnerships, said: "We have a large Greek community in Barnet and it is important that information in our libraries is easily accessible to residents. We want library users to make the most of the services on offer and the addition of instructions in Greek in these libraries will help achieve that."

East Barnet ward Councillor Barry Evangeli, who had campaigned for the inclusion of the Greek language, welcomed the addition: "I am delighted that this will be in place by the end of the week in East Barnet and Osidge libraries. It will be a great help to the Greek speaking community and will allow local residents to fully enjoy the great services being provided by the council."
