STOP BARNET LABOUR'S MAD TRANSPORT STRATEGY

Barnet Labour's new Transport Policy reveals a clear anti-car bias.

Private vehicle parking is ranked dead last on main roads and barely fares better in town centres:

  • More bus lanes,
  • cycle lanes, and
  • EV charging spaces to squeeze out most of Barnet's motorists.

Barnet Labour wants to reduce parking spaces and restrict car use, ignoring that 44.7% of Barnet’s trips are by car, higher than the outer London average. For many residents, especially in less connected areas and Barnet's large families, cars aren’t a luxury; they’re a necessity.
